CLEVELAND – Everstream, the business-only fiber network, has been honored with two leading workplace awards: Top Workplaces 2020, organized by The Plain Dealer, and 2020 Best Employers in Ohio, facilitated by Crain’s Cleveland Business and Best Companies Group.

Everstream has earned the Top Workplaces designation, which is based on employee nominations and surveys, for five years running. The annual list is determined solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by Energage, LLC, an employee engagement technology partner. The anonymous survey measures 15 drivers, including alignment, execution and connection, that are critical to the success of an organization’s culture.
Everstream also has been named a 2020 Best Employers in Ohio. In total, 42 companies received the annual statewide award, which is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment across the state. To be considered, companies participate in a two-part survey that evaluates employee experience — which is worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation — as well as workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics.
In 2019, Everstream nearly doubled its workforce across all markets and increased headcount in its Cleveland headquarters by almost 15 percent. This unprecedented growth aligns with the company’s Midwest expansion efforts and opening new local offices in Columbus, Ohio, Indianapolis, Indiana, St Louis, Missouri, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Everstream has kept that momentum going through the first half of 2020, adding 142 team members through organic growth and acquisition.
